[Mexico suffers from what Jorge Dominguez, in an article in Foreign Affairs, dubbed the "fracasomanía" means persistent gloom to a reality that seems unshakable. The collective tendency to think that corruption can be fought, that politicians are not propositional, that society can not be mobilized, that the population can not be educated, that good always succumb, that reformers always lose.
